Can we help you?
Our laser tattoo removal is a safe and effective treatment that makes tattoos of all sizes and colours simply fade away. These are the following factors that we take into consideration:
Location on the body
Age of the tattoo
Size of Tattoo
Quantity of ink used
Depth of the ink placed in the skin
Type of ink used and also the colours
How Tattoo Removal Works
The ink in your old, or unwanted, tattoo gets broken down with a high energy burst of light emitted from a laser. The length of time the laser light is pulsed gives a very accurate way of delivering an exact amount of energy. The high energy light breaks up the ink particles into tiny fragments, which are taken up by the macrophage scavenger cells in the skin and carried away by the body's waste removal systems.
How is the treatment carried out?
Our fully equipped treatment studio provides the right hygienic environment for our high tech tattoo removal procedures. Our clients are made comfortable and the procedures are fully explained. The area that is being worked on is then discussed, agreed and the treatment can commence. Once the skin is cleaned, the laser is passed over the tattoo. An audible ‘clicking’ noise may be heard, as the ink particles shatter. After treatment a light dressing may be applied if necessary. During treatment protective eyewear will be provided.
How do tattoo removal lasers work?
Lasers generate a high powered beam of laser light in an extremely short pulse which is absorbed by the tattoo ink particles, breaking them down into even smaller particles , thus enabling your natural immune defences to disperse the ink. A gradual fading of the tattoo occurs over a series of treatments.
How does the skin look after treatment?
An instant whitening of the tattoo is seen immediately after treatment, but this fades quickly. The area may feel tender for a few hours and can show some redness for up to 48 hours. Some tattoos will form a graze which must be left to heal naturally. The skins recovery and the lapsed time till the next treatment depends on the length and intensity of each treatment. We will start carefully and “up” the intensity till the desired fade or level of removal is achieved.
How much does the treatment cost?
We offer a free no-obligation consulation with our specialist, which will enable us to assess the level of treatment required and provide you with an accurate price for each following session. The cost of laser treatment starts from £25 per session.
